How much does a [...] cost? Any discount for large orders? How long will a translation take? How are scripts/translations written out? What form should I send the original material in? How should I pay? When and where should we send our payments? Do you have any references? Do you translate signs as well as ending and opening songs in anime? Do you translate anything else beside anime and drama? How much does a [...] cost? See our rates page. This is a general guideline and is negotiable. Any discount for large orders? If you have a large order, for example 10+ episodes of anime, we will give you a discount. The latest bulk discount rate is covered on our rates page. Feel free to contact us for more details. ^top How long will a translation take? This really depends on our workload. But as a general guideline we will finish an anime episode in 2 weeks (after material is received). We also translate rush orders for an extra 20%. How are scripts/translations written out? Let us know what format you prefer. You can see samples of our work on the goodies page to see how we usually do it. ^top What form should I send the original in? Mostly anything. VHS, DVD, CD, books, manga, softcopy scans via email are most common. LDs are not accepted due to its value and fragility. How should I pay? Cash is accepted in small quantities. Checks, money orders, wire transfers (ie - Western Union) and payment via paypal is currently accepted. Paypal can instantly and securely send money from your credit card to our email at aya_paypal@hotmail.com. There is no tax. Click on Paypal.com to go to the paypal site. ^top When and where should we send our payments? This is negotiable, but typically we will get 1/2 of the payment up front, and the other 1/2 after you have received our translations. We will send you a physical address of where to send the material and payment when we have agreed on a quote. Do you have any references? We will be glad to send you reference information if requested. ^top Do you translate signs as well as ending and opening songs in anime? We translate everything. Endings, openings, & background songs with romaji if you wish. We also translate the Japanese signs, characters, etc. Please specify if you want the cast names to be translated or not. If the songs change every single episode we may add a small fee. Do you translate anything else beside anime and drama? We'll translate pretty much anything.
